Dr Martina Mosing

Senior Lecturer

About me

I was born in beautiful Carinthia in Southern Austria where I grew up between mountains and lakes, before I moved to Vienna to study at the Veterinary University. After graduation I built up the anaesthesia section (now the largest veterinary anaesthesia group in Europe) as the first veterinary anaesthetist at this university and did my residency in Vienna and Bern, Switzerland. After 11 years of being an anaesthetist in Vienna I decided to go to Liverpool, UK as senior lecturer to learn more about other ways to do anaesthesia. After 3 years on the island I wanted to go back to a German speaking country and moved to Zürich, Switzerland to work at the Vetsuisse Faculty for 6 years. Finally I joined the Anaesthesia team at Murdoch in August 2016.
