    About me

    I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the Zhejiang Agriculture University in 1988, master’s degree from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS) in 1991, and PhD degree in 1999 from the University of Southern Queensland. My entire career has been focused on wheat research, including quality, disease resistance, nitrogen use efficiency, allergenicity, etc., mainly through genetic and molecular approaches. Currently, I am working in the Murdoch University chairing the grain chemistry discipline and leading the Australia-China Joint Research Centre for Wheat Improvement (ACCWI), one of the six joint research centres established in 2013 between the two nations (中澳联合研究中心).
